1/4/2024 0 Comments Mac stickies checkbox![]() ![]() My guess would be that Parallels is not properly recreating the Windows file system since "//Mac/Home/Documents/Dyson Sphere Program/Save/_autosave_tmp.dsv" is not a valid Windows folder tree location and would likely cause an error for any Windows user or software trying to access files using such a unix-style folder tree call. I also agree with FMAylward, the error appears to hint at the issue being caused by permissions/read & write access. The only real drawback ultimately is going to be that you'll have to reboot into Windows to use that OS, but the benefits of a native install vs running a VM are numerous. is also going to be much easier on a real Windows install vs a VM. Being able to troubleshoot drivers, services, etc. IMO, if you want to run games on a Mac, you should just make a real Win10 partition with Bootcamp and run all your Windows games on native Win 10 for the best chances of compatibility as well as the best performance (a VM means you are running both OSX and Win 10 at the same time and you will likely never see the same level of performance as you would with a single, native OS). That's certainly not to say no games will work, but the relatively few that they list as compatible with Parallels Desktop is a tiny fraction of 1% of the total number of Windows games out there. Sometimes some fiddling is required and sometimes it just comes down to an incompatibility that you simply can't address on your end. When it comes to games and VMs, it's like Proton/Wine for Linux: sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It works in full-screen mode and in all “Spaces” on the desktop.VMs can be pretty iffy when it comes to games and Parallels is really aimed more at giving the Mac ecosystem access to Windows' vast amount of available basic and productivity software than for running games. The best thing about Unclutter is that it can be used on any screen. It will then stick on top of the other open windows. Script editor lets you write your own scripts to find documents. You can use the keyboard to look through your notes or use one view to search for and change notes. Note Browser makes it easier to keep track of your notes by letting you see them all in one place. Note Browser and Script Editor are two of the app’s most useful features. If you don’t see your notes, make sure Stickies is open first.
